Ioannis Lianos nominated as president of Greece's competition authority
We are proud to congratulate the member of the academic board of the BRICS digital competition project, Chief Research Fellow at the HSE-Skolkovo Institute for Law and Development, Professor of Global Competition Law and Public Policy at the UCL on his nomination. The Greek government has announced that Professor Ioannis Lianos was nominated for the presidency of the Hellenic Competition Commission, replacing current president Vassiliki Thanou.
Professor Ioannis joined the HSE-Skolkovo Institute in 2013. He is a world-renowned specialist in the field of competition law and policy, valued for his contributions to the development in the academic areas. His next input to the policy-makers and academics in the area of competition - the co-authored report on competition in the digital era will be presented during the VI BRICS Conference this September in Moscow.
