The report "Research on the state of competition in the digital markets of the BRICS countries" was discussed in China.
On April 17-18, a two-day conference was held in Beijing, where academics from the Universities of Shanghai and Beijing, PRC business representatives, and experts from other states discussed issues of competition in the digital markets of the BRICS countries.
Alexey Ivanov, director of the HSE-Skolkovo Institute of Law and Development; and BRICS Anti-Monopoly Centre said that - "Colleagues from China are concerned about their adaptation in a global competitive environment. Historically, the global market is occupied by Western digital companies, and the PRC is only beginning to go beyond its own country, which requires synchronization of their internal rules with the outside world," He further commented saying that – "When preparing the Report, we will take into account the experience of our Chinese colleagues."
Let us remind you, that the report "Research on the state of competition in the digital markets of the BRICS countries" will be presented on September 16, 2019, at the BRICS Anti-Monopoly Conference in Moscow. The following discussion will take place in the summer of 2019 in Brazil.
