VI BRICS Competition Conference

VI BRICS Competition Conference

Over the past 10 years, the BRICS competition authorities have continuously deepened practical interaction and created the necessary institutional system for the further progressive development of multilateral cooperation.

An important institutional element in the joint work of the antimonopoly authorities of the BRICS countries has become the BRICS Competition Conference.  In 2009, the Conference was first held in Russia in the city of Kazan. Since then, the Conference has been regular and takes place once every two years alternately in the BRICS countries (2009 - Russia, 2011 - China, 2013 – India, 2015 - South Africa, 2017 - Brazil).

In 2019, the Conference was held for the second time in the Russian Federation under the leitmotif “10 years of successful cooperation between the BRICS competition authorities: results and prospects”.
