VII BRICS International Competition Conference

The VII BRICS International Competition Conference will be held from 16th to 17th November 2021 at the Century City New International Convention and Exhibition Center at Chengdu City, Sichuan Province of China.The conference will focus on the theme “Openness·Competition·Development”. The BRICS International Competition Conference is an important activity within the framework of the BRICS Summit. Since 2009, it has been held every two years in rotation among BRICS countries, and so far it has been held six times. BRICS Competition Law and Policy Centre plays a key role in the organization of the event. The previous conference took place in Moscow in 2019.

Alexey Ivanov, Director of the BRICS Antimonopoly Centre, will participate in the Session 3 "Development of Competition Policy in the Digital Era" that will take place from 04:30 to 6:40 am Moscow time on the 17th of November. Alexey will also take part in the parallel 5 "Competition Policy under Economic Globalization" on the 17th of November from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm Moscow time. 

Anna Pozdnyakova, Expert of the BRICS Competition Law and Policy Centre, will give a speech during the second panel "International Cooperation in Combating Cross-border Cartels" that will take place from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm Moscow time on the 16th of November.
