Information on China's anti-epidemic standards is open to all ISO members

Since the outbreak of the COVID-19, the State Administration for Market Regulation has taken the initiative to strengthen coordination and communication with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

While guaranteeing China's participation in international standardization activities, it has timely summarized the practical experience of China's standardization assistance in the fight against the pandemic disease. The information on its standards is open to 163 other members of ISO.

The standard information open to all ISO members includes four aspects. In essence, the approved list of Chinese and national epidemic prevention materials, the comparison information of domestic and foreign epidemic prevention materials standards, the list of international versions of national standards for epidemic prevention materials, and the equivalent standard information published abroad. This will make it easier for other countries to understand the standard information of China's national defence epidemic materials and make due contributions to the global prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic.
