The analysis will affect the entire supply chain of certain popular brands of butter and bread, as well as all potato commodity positions.
The Service has requested data from suppliers and the largest retail chains in terms of sales of these products, such as Magnit, Pyaterochka, Dixie and Auchan, on transportation arrangements, transport providers, transportation volumes and tariffs.
Based on the information obtained, the service will assess whether transportation costs significantly affect the cost of these products for the end consumer. In case the analysis reveals any signs of violations of antimonopoly legislation, the FAS of Russia will take appropriate response measures.
