The head of the People's Bank of China, Yi Gang, said that Chinese regulators are working hard to balance the link between stimulating development and preventing risks. The Douyin video platform, the Chinese version of the TikTok app, continued its campaign to reduce Internet time by imposing a time limit on those under the age of 14.
