Earlier the consideration of the antimonopoly case against Yandex was suspended due to the fact that the court ruling on the approval of the settlement agreement was appealed by Kassir.ru LLC in cassation.
The FAS Russia notes that the amicable agreement concluded between the service, Yandex and the applicants in the antimonopoly case was the result of the company's recognition of the validity of the warning issued by the FAS and the implementation of its provisions. This decision made it possible not to delay the litigation for years, but by joint efforts to implement mechanisms that allow all market participants to develop successfully.
The actions taken by Yandex to eliminate factors limiting competition in the Internet search market are aimed at all market participants, regardless of their participation in the signing of the settlement agreement.
In addition, in accordance with the requirements of the Arbitration Procedure Code of the Russian Federation, when approving the settlement agreement, the Moscow Arbitration Court found that the concluded agreement does not violate the rights and legitimate interests of persons who are not its signatories.
The FAS Russia, together with market participants and interested parties, will continue to monitor compliance with the terms of the settlement agreement and the state of competition in the Internet search market.
