Syngenta Crop Protection has announced the completion of the acquisition of Produtécnica, a distributor of agricultural inputs operating in the states of Maranhão, Piauí and Tocantins, through its SYNAP Commercial Platform, following approval by CADE (Administrative Council for Economic Defense).
″The approval of this acquisition adds a highly relevant brand to SYNAP, which, together with the other brands that make up our Commercial Platform, keeps us aligned to ensure that Brazilian farmers have access to our innovations, implemented in Syngenta's robust portfolio of products and services,″

In addition to Produtécnica’s six units, Syngenta will have around 90 stores of its own, as well as more than 200 partner distributors and cooperatives.
