Svetlana Avdasheva served as Dean of the Department of Applied Economics and professor of the Sub-department of Economic Analysis of Organizations and Markets at the Higher School of Economics (HSE), where she teaches economic-oriented courses. She earned her ScD in Economics in 2001. Her research interests include organization of industrial markets in Russia, vertical integration in Russian industry, non-monetary settlements and their influence on the organization of markets, imperfection of market information and anti-monopoly and competitive policies in Russia. Svetlana is the author of a great number of research articles. She received the Award for Excellence in Teaching in 2013.
