Die Jurnada globalny de les liberties tecnologiche: para a digital humanismus

The discussion "Diversity and technological freedoms" was organized by the Department of Legal Sciences of the University of Florence. This initiative, implemented jointly with the European Association of the Harvard Law School, was awarded the medal of the President of the Italian Republic. Such recognition is given to projects that have a special cultural and humanitarian value. The online discussion was attended by international lawyers and researchers from the world's leading research centers, officials and politicians, representatives of large private companies and the largest Italian legal associations. Alexey Ivanov, Director of the BRICS Antimonopoly Centre, presented the report "The role of digital platforms in reducing diversity.

The organizer of the conference and the representative of the Department of Legal Sciences Ettore Maria Lombardi told about the idea of the conference:

"The development of the positive potential of technologies should be considered in the social, economic and environmental context. But the idea of digital humanism can be realized only in conditions of full integration, when different worlds and environments penetrate into each other, and their diversity becomes a value, not an obstacle. This is the meaning of our Digital Day initiative, which we wanted to emphasize with a title consisting of words from eight different languages: "Die jurnada globalny de les Liberties tecnologiche: para a digital humanismus".
