Signs of violation of antimonopoly legislation were revealed in the course of unscheduled anti-cartel inspections against the largest sugar producers.

"Analysis of documents, as well as other information obtained in the course of verification activities, indicates that Prodimex coordinated the activities of retail networks in order to increase retail prices for sugar in conditions of increased demand,"

says the agency's website.

If found guilty, the company faces a fine under the CAO RF, the service reminded.
