A form for filing a complaint against spam advertisements with an operator has appeared on the website of the Federal Antimonopoly Service.
According to the antimonopoly agency, the service was launched "due to the large number of complaints from citizens about spam calls and sms, including from abroad using switched numbers".
With the help of a special form a subscriber can leave a complaint about voice or sms advertising, which was received without his consent, and quickly get a reply from his operator. It is expected that unwanted ads will be blocked within 72 hours.
At present the form for filing a complaint against spam ads appeared on the websites of FAS Russia and three operators - MTS, Tele2, Megafon. In the near future the service will work on the websites of other operators.
